If you've been following me for awhile you've probably figured out I love plants and flowers. I thought I would share a few photos of some new plants I got from Full Grown Girl in Riverview, Florida in the Winthrop Town Center. One of them is a silver satin pathos, a great low maintenance house plant that is easy to grow! You can read more about this low light house plant here. The other one I got from the same nursery is a variety of a monstera, it's common name is a "Swiss cheese plant" due to the whole in the leaves. but it's scientific name is a Monstera Adansonii, it's a vine that is just so pretty and easy to grow!
One day I was looking for something to photograph and my plants played the part of models. Aren't they beautiful?! Do you love plants as much as I do? Which ones are your favorites?
"The Swiss cheese plant, Monstera adansonii, gets its name from its large, heart-shaped leaves. As the plantages, the leaves become covered with holes that resemble Swiss cheese. This is a tropical perennial plant from Central and South American that is normally grown as a houseplant." - The Spruce (written by Jon Vanzile)
"The satin pothos (Scindapsus pictus) is a vine plant that has dark green leaves with silvery markings. Also called thesatin silver pothos, this slow-growing trailing houseplant is very easy to care for. The eye-catching tropical plant looks stunning, growing in hanging baskets or climbing up a moss pole." - Leafy Place
