I'm so late in sharing these beautiful elopement photos I took a few months back here in Safety Harbor at Philippe Park. We had a blast shooting this elopement inspired wedding shoot even though it was "cold" that day for Florida. They were so much fun to photograph and had the best attitude even though it was pretty chilly outside that day. This is one of my favorite locations for shoots because it has a combination of water and, greenery, and forest. It's always easy to find good pockets of light no matte what time of day you're shooting. And the park is large with several different kind of backgrounds to choose from. Philippe Park was acquired in 1948, making it the oldest park in Pinellas County. This historically rich park bears the name of Count Odet Philippe who introduced citrus culture to Florida. The existing park property was part of the original Philippe plantation from which several citrus trees still remain.
We had a gorgeous bouquet made by the one and only Whitley Glasglow of Briar Rose Floral Design. I loved the colors she picked for this bridal bouquet and the shape is so unique!
Here are just a few highlights from the day!
