Couples photos at Sunken Gardens
Today I am sharing with you an amazing couples session at Sunken Gardens in St Petersburg, Florida that I shot this past spring. When my husband and I first moved to Tampa, I knew immediately this was one of the first places I HAD to shoot at. Sunken Gardens is a true gem its a lush botanical paradise in the heart of the busy city of St Pete. I did not know this but interesting fact according to their website, it states "As St. Petersburg's oldest living museum, this 100-year-old garden is home to some of the oldest tropical plants in the region." It's so incredibly beautiful there so if you haven't been yet you really should take a day and check it out. Especially if you're a plant lover like me, you'll love seeing all the lush plant life that you wish you had in your back yard. We ended their session at Cypress Point Park. It's a gorgeous park that is very popular for engagement photos and senior portraits, it's one of my favorite photoshoot locations! It's not uncommon to see several other Tampa photographers there shooting their clients because it offers a variety of backgrounds at one location. It offers tall grass, long paved pathways, well kept grass and landscaping, and of course a beautiful beach! And as a bonus it has bathrooms which makes it easy for outfit changes for your clients.
Elizabeth and Cillian were a referral through a mutual friend so I was really excited to work them and have them as clients. They were a joy to work with, they are such a fun a vibrate young couple!
